Won’t quit Congress, party can remove me if it wants: Sunil Jakhar’s MLA nephew Sandeep

A day after Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring hit out at previous PPCC boss Sunil Kumar Jakhar, who as of late joined the BJP, by saying that he might have accepted his nephew Sandeep Jakhar too to the saffron party, the last option named it “sheer egotism” with respect to Congress pioneers. The Abohar MLA likewise stated that he won’t leave the party.

Sunil Kumar Jakhar is the fatherly uncle of Sandeep, a Congress MLA from Punjab’s Abohar supporters. Both live in a similar house in Abohar. Addressing The Indian Express about Warring’s assertion, Sandeep said, “However I have eliminated the Congress banner from the highest point of my home, I will keep on serving Abohar as their MLA as they put their confidence in me regardless of an extremely amazing flood of badlaav. I won’t leave, in the event that they (Congress) need to toss me out, it depends on them. Their assertions demonstrate that they have proactively decided… Hence, they are allowed to do anything they want.””The explanations show the sheer haughtiness of the top Congress administration as they are not prepared to gain from their missteps even in this hour of emergency. Two days prior, I got a call from the PPCC office and was deputed to Lehragaga supporters for the impending Sangrur Lok Sabha bypoll. I even went to party gatherings in mid-May called by Congress Legislative Party (CLP) pioneer Partap Singh Bajwa, and presently they are talking like this against me. Essentially they need to address me regarding what I need to say, what is to me… everybody has self confidence,” Sandeep Jakhar added. He further expressed, “… all things considered, they need to pose a similar inquiry to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi too… on the grounds that inside their family, Maneka Gandhi and Varun Gandhi are essential for the BJP. CLP pioneer Bajwa’s sibling Fateh Jang Bajwa is in the BJP. So there ought to be a similar measuring stick for oneself and all… for what reason am I being singled out,” he asked.Sandeep Jakhar won the Abohar political race with an edge of 5,471 votes overcoming the AAP’s Deepak Kamboj. Sunil Jakhar had been the MLA of this voting public for three sequential terms in 2002, 2007 and 2012, yet all at once lost in 2017.

“Prior they did likewise with Sunil-ji… they had decided on him too… However, he trusted that Sonia Gandhi will converse with him once and pay attention to his variant, and when no correspondence came… he joined the BJP and obviously told J P Nadda, public leader of the BJP, that he had accompanied an extremely weighty heart. His uprightness was immaculate,” Sandeep added.

Discussing his likely arrangements, he said, “I will keep on serving individuals as the Abohar MLA.” He has up until this point not showed any designs to change to the BJP. “All senior party pioneers need to emerge from their haughtiness and gain from their slip-ups… there is a breaking point to which somebody can be pushed… Everyone has dignity and that ought to be kept up with.”
