The last time of CBC’s “Kim’s Convenience” won three Canadian Screen Awards, including Paul Sun-Hyung Lee for best lead entertainer, parody; Jean Yoon for best lead entertainer, satire; and Andrew Phung for best supporting entertainer, parody, denoting his fifth success in this class. The honor for best satire series went to CBC’s “Kind Of.”
Movie respects were driven by Shasha Nakhai and Rich Williamson’s “Scarborough,” which won eight Canadian Screen Awards including best film, accomplishment in bearing and the John Dunning best first component film award.Beth Janson, CEO, Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, said: “There is no denying the recent years have been loaded up with difficulties. The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television reported the champs of the 2022 Canadian Screen Awards more than six days during Canadian Screen Week, including the 2022 Canadian Screen Awards show which was communicated on CBC and CBC Gem on Apr. 10.
